Help Us Open Our Homeless Shelter

HOMELESSNESS is an EPIDEMIC in the US!  And we need your help!!!  Many homeless die when it’s too hot, too cold, or too wet. These are real people who need real resources, like shelter, food, and clothes. We have to do more as a nation to stop treating the homeless as invisible, and start treating them as human beings. We must do more, as fellow neighbors, developers, lawmakers, citizens, to solve this problem and get people off the streets, because everyone, deserves a home.

For over 16 years, Pastor Lenwood and First Lady Erica Frazer have been feeding the homeless with no financial support.  Their street ministry and outreach program meets the homeless where they are; alleyways, train tracks, tent cities, abandoned vehicles, and buildings.  Twice a month they cook and prepare hot meals to deliver to the homeless and hungry people of Ocean County, NJ.  Each month they minister to and feed over 300 people.   Watching the needs of those they serve grow more desperate, the food ministry inclined the development of the clothes ministry that allowed us to give coats, boots, hats, gloves, and toiletries as available.

As a church, Faith Fellowship Outreach Ministries understands the importance of spiritual sustenance for the totality of a person's humility and dignity.  With each plate delivered, our Pastors offer prayer and the opportunity to give their lives to Christ working through the redemptive power of God.  We have seen over 300 people acknowledge the working power of God in their lives despite the circumstances they are in.

Out of the need to fulfill God's plan and extend our ministry of outreach, Faith Fellowship Outreach Ministries will open the doors to The Reformation House, a Christian homeless shelter and mental health sanctuary for ALL who need it.  The Reformation House was organized for the purpose of ministering to the homeless and helpless by providing immediate housing, mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, and other services to any adult who needs it, or who fell through the cracks in the existing network of social services in Ocean County.

Ocean County has NO homeless shelters for adults.  This lends to the crisis of homelessness in a country where we tend to ignore poverty and homelessness, even in our political campaigns.  Help us to restore dignity and respect to our less fortunate citizens. We are currently looking for a building to open our doors.  Please help us provide these services and programs on a local, regional, and nationwide scale as we seek to fulfill God's great commission.  If you know of a building that we can use, if you can donate the use of a building, or you would like to help us fund a building in Ocean county, NJ please contact us.

Programs that will be launched out of The Reformation House are: - Welcome Home (emergency homeless shelter) -ReNew (counseling solutions) -Ricky's Kitchen (food pantry) -Catherine's Closet (clothes closet)  - Veteran's Corp (Veteran's work/life assistance program) -Project YES (career development/job assistance program)

Your donations will provide nourishing meals, help fund the shelter, and provide clothing and care that will change lives.
