Faith Fellowship Teams with RAFTS

RAFTS was founded as a volunteer, grassroots organization to help individuals and families navigate the journey of addiction and recovery. RAFTS are parents and individuals who are in recovery or have a loved one going through the process.

RAFTS does not represent any detox or rehab facilities BUT they do know a lot about the ones in New Jersey. They have personally spoken with and know the individuals working at these facilities and know who has your best interests at heart. They will guide you through this process so you are not doing it alone.

RAFTS also offers support programs for families whose loved ones are struggling with addiction and programs following detox/rehab. They support all pathways to a successful recovery. RAFTS operates in a meeting space in Manasquan, NJ and serves southern Monmouth County and northern Ocean County.

Some of the programs that RAFTS offers are:

  • All-Recovery Meeting This meeting is for anyone interested in participating in a discussion about addiction and recovery.

  • Food Addicts in Recovery Meeting The only requirement is the desire to stop impulse eating.

  • Gentle Beginner’s and Yin Yoga Relax while stretching your body, releasing feelings of strength, accomplishment and serenity. Or you can just lie on you mat/towel and enjoy the peace and quiet.

  • Language of Letting Go Meeting This meeting uses Melody Beattie’s daily meditations, which focuses on self-esteem and acceptance. Each meeting will be a discussion on the meditation for that day.

  • Marijuana Anonymous Meeting The only requirement for attendance is the desire to stop using marijuana.

  • Nar-Anon Meeting The only requirement to be a member and attend Nar-Anon meetings is that there is a problem of drugs or addiction in a relative or friend.

  • RAFTS Interest Meeting ALL are welcome! Join our weekly meeting to find out what is happening at RAFTS. This meeting is for anyone interested in helping with our community or learning more about our Recovery Community initiative.

  • Walk on the Bike Path Weather permitting, join us before our All Recovery Meeting for a nature walk on the Edgar Felix Bike Path in Manasquan. Enjoy fresh air and nature’s beauty. During spring, summer and fall months, we will walk in any conditions that are not treacherous, as being in nature is good for the mind, body and soul.

  • Prayers for Your Prodigal

  • Those participating use readings and meditations from a book with this title, which focuses on parents praying for their children and sharing their thoughts and experiences
