Theodore D. Barnett, Jr.

The oldest son of the late Theodore D. and Daisy E. Barnett Sr., Minister Barnett is from Aiken, South Carolina. He is a graduate of the historically black college South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina where he obtained a degree in Political Science-Public Administration. After college he worked for a short time in law enforcement as a correctional officer and probation parole agent with the state of South Carolina. He later worked for the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons in Adult Education/GED Studies. An educator for 18 plus years he has worked and taught various grades both at the middle, high schools and college level.

During his formative years he grew up watching his parents serve the Lord in the capacities of deacon and deaconess as well as watching his father serve as Sunday school teacher and superintendent. After the deaths of his parents at very crucial times of his life, he sought God and the Lord has been with him ever since he felt the tug of God upon his heart. Minister Barnett was saved in 1992 at Almond Branch Baptist Church in Aiken SC.  It was Pastor Bruce Page, that imparted a profound understanding of scripture and of the Holy Spirit. Years later, he felt the Lord calling him and after much prayer and further revelation through the Spirit, he sought the ministerial counsel of his then pastor Alexander Pope Jr. at First Providence Baptist Church in North Augusta, South Carolina. In November of 2000 this fledgling minister preached his initial sermon to the First Providence Baptist Church family.

After relocating to Virginia in 2005, the Lord continued to bless and provide favor for his child although he was miles away from everything he knew growing up. In 2007 Minister Barnett continued to work in God’s church joining New Deliverance Evangelistic Church, in Chesterfield VA. It was there that he learned how to intimately worship and praise the Lord. Although he has experienced a taste of adversity, this preacher continued to work in God’s church in whatever capacity the Lord desired to place him.

Minister Barnett and his fiance' Lisa moved to NJ in the summer of 2017 and it was here that the calling to serve God's people through outreach and love connected him with Faith Fellowship Outreach Ministries, Inc.  Minister Barnett has many scriptures that he considers precious however it is Jeremiah 1: 5-11 and Isaiah 6: 1-8 that speak the most to him. Minister Barnett has 1 son, Theodore D. Barnett, III who lives in Columbia, SC.
